EverGreen - Celebrity Event Coordination

Classic Communications coordinated a live event with legendary former Chicago Bears Coach Mike Ditka and former Bears running back Gale Sayers to help promote their client EverGreen Recreational Vehicles during the 2016 Dealer Open House in Elkhart, Indiana. The event was successful in drawing guests to view the travel trailer, toy hauler and fifth wheel coaches that EverGreen brought to the event to sell to dealers nationwide.

EverGreen - National Broadcast Collaboration

After Classic Communications’ client, EverGreen Recreational Vehicles LLC, received a call from the FOX News Mike Huckabee Show, generated from the trade exposure Classic had provided, EverGreen President and Classic President began negotiations for an on-site airing at The Huckabee Show in Elkhart, Indiana.

Successful with their pitch to FOX Senior Producer, Classic then took on the liaison role between another Client, the EDC of Elkhart County, the Elkhart companies featured in the show, and the FOX Huckabee Show producers. The national aired show featured EverGreen and other Elkhart companies in a positive light at a very tough time.

All American Homes - Major Media Event

When the All American Building Systems division of All American Homes made a multi-million dollar sale of barracks to the United States military, Classic was on-hand to make sure the building industry and potential customers were aware of this major coup. A major media event was planned or the “Launch Date” when the first 22 of hundreds of barracks sections would leave the Iowa plant on their way to El Paso Texas.

A caravan of 44 semi-trailers and support vehicles left the facility with excellent media coverage to mark the day. Aerial photography was used to create valuable images that would be used on websites and brochures for years to come. The event garnered extensive coverage in the media and generated excellent content for brochures, websites and other marketing materials.

Gaska Tape - Opening Foreign Markets with Earned Media and PR

Gaska Tape needed to educate specifying design engineers in Mexico, Central and South America on the merits of both its entry level and high end tape and gasket product lines. Before making the expensive jump of sending sales representatives into the field internationally, Gaska needed quality prospects to call on in Latin America.

Classic identified the niche markets that could benefit the most from these product lines: such as Tier One Automotive, construction equipment and window manufacturing. Classic then crafted targeted press releases to technical editors of these specific trade magazines and online media. Using media relations “Pitch” sources in Mexico City and the United States, with phone calls and e-mails, Classic pitched the stories of these unique products and their benefits to the Latin American media.

The releases were picked up by some of the largest trades publications in Latin America. Once again, Classic got the phone to ring and the e-mails flowing to create the leads for successful sales calls in Latin America.

Fapco - Using White Papers for Leads and Sales

Classic Communications developed a white paper for Fapco titled Anatomy of a Recall. This white paper was used to position Fapco as the go-to supplier when a manufacturer was forced into a product recall. Because a white paper is much longer than a press release, Classic Communications was able to promote all the benefits and technical knowledge and experience Fapco brings to the table to make a bad situation (a recall) go as smoothly as possible.

NCP - Industrial Product Introduction

Niles Chemical Paint (NCP) developed a unique way to mix paints and a hi-tech optically activated coating system. NCP hired Classic Communications to get the word out. Classic used press releases targeted to key industry trade magazines.

Feature length press releases were written and high quality photos were taken to provide specifying design engineers the information they needed to contact the NCP sales department for more information and to place orders. The releases were published in 95 trade publications and many more websites. This hi-tech feature writing showcases our skills in technical writing.

The Panhandler - Major National Magazine Exposure

The small business start-up producing The Panhandler, a nifty pan fish cleaning machine, could not yet afford advertising for their product. They hired Classic Communications to get the word out. Classic staff provided phone follow-up to editors that resulted in high interest from Popular Mechanics magazine with a circulation of over 1.8 million readers. Classic staff worked closely with the editorial contacts of Popular Mechanics until the magazine agreed to run the release in their famous Gadgets section. The resulting publication produced record sales for the small firm—making their phone ring off the wall and helping them to finance promotions towards a retail sales network.
