All New Pilgrim International Buyers Can Drive Off the Lot and Enjoy 30-Days of Camping Free at Thousand Trails—America’s Largest and Most Successful Private Camping Club

Middlebury, Ind. — Pilgrim International, America’s fastest growing manufacturer and innovator of fifth wheels, travel trailers and hybrid camping trailers, is pleased to announce a unique new agreement with Thousand Trails premium camping resorts. Pilgrim International fifth wheel and travel trailer purchasers will have the opportunity to receive a free weekend at an exclusive Thousand Trails Preserve, which includes an informative membership presentation. Once this free weekend is complete, 30 free days of camping is activated at any of Thousand Trails’ 59 Resort Preserves and over 17,000 campsites across the country. If the new Pilgrim Intl. campers like what they see and decide to join Thousand Trails, their Pilgrim Intl. purchase provides $1,000 off the national membership.

New Pilgrim Intl. purchasers are invited to the preserve through a brochure and temporary Thousand Trails membership card they receive with their Pilgrim warranty packet. Within 60-days, each purchaser of a new Pilgrim, Open Road, Cirrus, or Legends fifth wheel or travel trailer will receive a welcome invitation to Thousand Trails Preserves on Pilgrim’s behalf accompanied with a Thousand Trails Directory of Preserve sites. This welcome packet is followed closely by a courtesy call from a Thousand Trails vacation planning representative to help them with the reservation process.

Founded in 1969, Thousand Trails is one of the largest and most successful private camping clubs in the country. Thousand Trails member families enjoy over 55 membership-based campground resorts known as “Preserves” because of the natural settings. The numerous Thousand Trails Preserves of today are the result of the conglomeration and enhancement of three of the strongest names in quality scenic campground systems--Thousand Trails, NACO, and Leisure Time.

“With more than 30-years of experience providing the finest in private family camping, Thousand Trails is committed to providing the highest quality, clean, safe, affordable and fun Preserves in North America. “Our properties are known as ‘preserves,’ because we protect the natural beauty of the environment for our members' enjoyment. Today, Thousand Trails offers a premium outdoors destination to more than 100,000 member/ families at Preserves in 16 states, British Columbia, and Canada,” Stated Jerry Gelinas, senior vice president of marketing for Thousand Trails.

“Pilgrim International’s unique partnership with Thousand Trails is a great example of how we are continuing our tradition of providing added value to our customers. Not only does this unique new program provide an added incentive to purchase our quality products, it also provides an incentive to hit the road and start camping! Our new partnership with Thousand Trails is a great way for families to enter the camping scene, great for full-timers that want more quality time on the road, and good for the RV industry as a whole,” concluded Jerry Sell, vice president of sales and marketing for Pilgrim International.
